The PMHA Rep Try Outs are expected to take place beginning August 25th, 2017. As the try out date approaches, please check your Divisional page on the PMHA website for rep try out schedules. The try outs will start earlier this year, the weekend of August 25-27, as Arena B is being renovated and is unavailable until October 1st.

Important Details:
Any player who misses their scheduled assessment session does so at his/her own risk. Players must be in attendance to be evaluated, as scores are cumulative over the course of the evaluations. Exceptions (such as for medical reasons or unforeseen circumstances) must be requested in writing (email) to the First Vice President;

As per PMHA policies, players will not be permitted to join the representative tryout process after the process has begun. Exceptions may be made for players on the waitlist or transferring into PMHA; and

If a player is injured and unable to attend the scheduled REP tryouts and wants to be considered for REP placement the following procedure will be followed:

A signed doctor’s letter (form on BC Hockey website) stating expected return to play date must be provided to the Divisional Manager as soon as possible before tryouts start.

The player must be cleared to play hockey (expected return date above), at the REP level, by October 15 of the current season before an application for late entry into the REP tryout process will be accepted.

The Divisional Manager, interim Head Coach, Coach Coordinator, and PMHA 1st VP will meet and determine if a late entry into REP tryouts is applicable on a case by case basis. The player must have demonstrated previous ability to play at the REP level before a late entry will be considered.

The Divisional Manager will advise the player/parents of the decision on late entry.

If accepted into late entry, when the player returns to play he/she will be assigned to the second tier group or team, if available. The player will be evaluated with that group or team and then assigned appropriately.

From this point on the evaluation process will follow the normal REP tryout process.
